I am a non award winning designer and researcher with a background in integrated product design. My practice focuses on intersecting social, environmental, political, economic [...] and ecological sustainability. I am aiming to approach projects from a holistic perspective and through a lens of asking questions, speculating, and breaking down without neglecting complexity.
I promote sustainable transformation by incorporating speculative design, social design, future thinking, and critical design methods into my toolbox.
Lately, I was familiarizing myself with the principles of the circular economy.
Have to confess that I applied for one back then in 2021. But reflecting on it now, I question the lending and the criteria to be met.

The Digit-folio should not only represent projects and focus of mine, it should also show that criticism of my own projects is practiced and a permanent diffraction of my own actions has to be practiced.
Diffraction is the spreading of waves around obstacles. In this context, is means not only the mere reflection of input, but also taking it apart, illuminating it through different lenses, and viewing it in the context of different scopes.
The diffracting voice of mine will be heard by hovering over grey marked words.

Writing exercise with fellow students (MFA) about each other:

The proverbially cup-half-full person, Natalies work explores potcis as wide as the table cloth stain (should that cup overflow) dealing with realities and...

Natalie is a designer that you will often find looking at things in a playful, alternative way by squatting. An energetic member of the collective, she is quicm to laugh, engage and beat you at whatever it is you are doing - even if you do not realize it is a race. She likes to "puke" ideas and explore from the norm-critical perspective.

Natalie is fascinated by all kind of artefacts, [that are] left by others. Once discovering an object of interest, she transforms into a gathering creature - a racoon.

Gives out all the energy that ever existed and at the same time has a calmness over her. Gives awkwards, but great hugs.
